当社がYAGIthicalの活動として協働している、社会課題を解決するファッションブランド『coxco（ココ）』がブランド初のスタンダードラインをローンチしました。

定番アイテムとして販売が開始されたTシャツの綿素材の部分には、PBPオーガニックコットンを使用しています。
オーガニックコットンを購入する際、基金を積み立てている当社独自の取り組みで、インドの綿農家を支援する仕組みになっています。

インドの綿農家では、大量の農薬や化学肥料の使用により、大地汚染や農家の健康被害などの問題が起きています。また、農薬や化学肥料の購入による借金苦により毎年約3万人以上の人々が自ら命を絶っているという現状があります。
生活苦や児童労働により学校に行けない子どもも多く、これらは教育格差や貧困問題などの社会課題にも繋がっています。

「coxco」の定番アイテムのTシャツでは、これらの社会課題を伝え、向き合うために、インドのオリッサ州の綿農家が作ったオーガニックコットンの生地を使用しています。
積み立てた基金は、PBP財団を通じて、インドの綿農家の有機農法への転換支援や、農家のこどもたちの就学・奨学支援に充てられます。

このTシャツと共に発売になったワンピースには、再生可能な木材原料から作られた環境配慮素材が使われています。
二酸化炭素排出量や水への影響を低減するなど、高い環境基準に適合するとして注目されている素材です。

全ての製品は日本国内の工場で縫製され、トレーサビリティが追求されており、製品タグについているQRコードを読み込むと、生地やアイテムの生産過程を知ることができる仕様になっています。

また、今回発売される商品の売上10％は、フィリピンの貧困層の人々を対象としたファッションスクール「coxco Lab」の設立と運営費用に充てられます。
「coxco Lab」は、coxcoの代表である⻄側愛⼸さんが立ち上げたNPO「DEAR ME」の活動の一環として、設立が予定されています。

The fashion brand “coxco” which we work with closely, have launched the first standard collection.

The T-shirt is made of PBP organic cotton. The part of the proceeds from sales of this cotton is saved as funds and donated to organic cotton farmers in India.

By organic cotton farmers in India, it occurs several problems for example soil pollution and health damage caused by use of large amount of agricultural chemicals. In addition, about 30,000 of farmers commit suicide per year because of debts due to purchase of agricultural chemicals. There are also many children who cannot afford to go to school because of the poverty. Educational inequality and poverty are serious problem, too.

Coxco face those problems seriously and made T-shirt with PBP organic cotton from Orissa, India. The funds saved by the proceeds from sales of this cotton will go to the organic cotton farmers in India to support their farming and education for children.


The Dress of the standard collection is made of environmentally conscious material which is made from wood. It cause less carbon dioxide emission and water pollution.

To secure traceability, the supply chain of products is clarified by scanning a QR code attached to items.

The proceeds from sales of the items of this standard collection will go to the nonprofit organization “DEAR ME” to establish a fashion school “coxco lab” for the poor in Philippine.
